I haven’t done much cooking lately so I thought I’d have a little go at a new bake today. Something I’ve never made before! On Sunday morning we were all watching Sunday brunch on channel 4 and there was a lovely Irish chef making her version of Soda bread or Clodaugh bread as she called it. Instantly I was drawn in, as it’s a bread that doesn’t need too much attention it seemed, perfect so I thought “that’s what I’ll try!”
So, it’s been a while since my last blog, even with all my good intentions of a positive start to the New Year. Best laid plans and all that.
New year, new me or some such nonsense!! The thing is, and this is quite important. I don’t want to create an entirely NEW me, I would just like to become a slightly better version of my old self.
